The settings used in Kirchheimer’s 1981 documentary Stations of the Elevated-which shows graffiti-covered elevated subway trains gliding through the gritty urban landscape of 1970s New York-are revisited by the director in 2015. This nine-minute video, also featuring photos and videos shot during the film’s 1977 production, originally appeared as a bonus feature on Oscilloscope Laboratories’ limited-edition DVD.
