What About Bob?

No upcoming showtimes scheduled.
Director: Frank Oz
1991 / 99min / 35mm

Phobia-paralyzed Bob Wiley (Bill Murray) expects miracles from his new therapist, Dr. Leo Marvin (Richard Dreyfuss), but when the good doctor and author of pop psychology bestseller Baby Steps delays their next session for a month-long family vacation, high-maintenance Bob decides he can’t wait around for his breakthrough, and ambushes the Marvin family (including the always uproarious Julie Hagerty) at their New Hampshire lake house. Real-life enmity between leads Murray and Dreyfuss made for comic gold in Oz’s neurosis-run-amok classic, of which Dreyfuss would later say: “Funny movie. Terribly unpleasant experience.”
