Barney’s fascination with architecture finds its most awe-striking expression in an epic set in the world of 1930s gangsterdom, which prominently features the interiors of the Chrysler Building, Frank Lloyd Wright’s Guggenheim Museum, and the Saratoga Racetrack. Barney stars as the apprentice to an architect, played by sculptor Richard Serra, working together to construct the art deco skyscraper when not acting out scenes from Masonic mythology and the organization’s initiation rites.
