Kuei Chih-pang returns as newspaper reporter San Lin and his alter ego, scourge of Taiwan’s evildoers, in this first sequel to Dragon Superman, a palpable hit when released earlier the same year. His foes are, again, the indefatigable Cosmic Gang; his allies include La Te-nan’s gormless photographer “Mr. Mischief” and a trio of junior crime-fighters called the “Detective Boys,” in desperate need of Dragon Superman’s help when taken hostage after bearing witness to a crime.
