Two American girls on a European road trip have a breakdown and stumble across the absolute worst roadside assistance imaginable in the person of one Dr. Josef Heiter (Dieter Laser), a psychotic German surgeon whose cherished dream is to create a “human centipede” out of people connected, one to the next, by way of their gastric systems.
