MEMBER PREVIEW: ONLY LIVING PICKPOCKET IN NEW YORK

Director: Noah Segan

2026 / 88min / DCP

For a very special Members Only preview at Metrograph, John Turturro and director Noah Segan join us to present their new movie, The Only Living Pickpocket in New York, a compelling character study, and a mash note to the tattered fringes of the city’s outer boroughs. Like many a skilled craftsman who does finesse work with his hands, Turturro’s Harry is facing obsolescence, for Harry is an old-fashioned pickpocket in a smartphone-driven world, barely getting a dishonest day’s wage from pawnbroker buddy Steve Buscemi for his daily spoils. Harry’s luck turns—though not in the way he hopes for—when he lifts a wallet belonging to the smarmy scion of a notorious crime family (Will Price), and is forced to rely on analog street smarts to keep his loved ones safe from the resulting fallout.

Please Note: This special members only screening is general admission with no reserved seating.
