Join us this December 6th and 13th for our Holiday BookFair, as Metrograph presents an array of vintage film books, magazines, posters, ephemera, and more, including the truly spectacular private collection—lovingly built up over a lifetime—of a devoted New York cinephile, student of Andrew Sarris, and ardent booklover.

Guests will have the first opportunity to explore this collection of over 1,200 individual volumes, which span nearly every corner of printed film history—from Golden Age Hollywood and the American Underground, through to the French New Wave and the titans of World Cinema. Each title was cared for and handled with an exacting, museum-grade eye for detail, and each volume remains in near perfect condition.

With the Holiday Book Fair running over two weekends, our friends at David Zwirner Books will join us on December 6th, showcasing their beautiful publications, while Posteritati will present a curated selection of their vintage film posters and ephemera on December 13th.

Alongside these incredible collections, we’ll have steep discounts on merch, in-store exclusives, and special offers on the latest issue of our award-winning print magazine, The Metrograph.

Our Lobby Bar will be open for the duration of these special events serving refreshments and small bites to keep you fueled for the festivities.
