Yance Ford, filmmaker and interim Artistic Director of Columbia, Missouri’s legendary True/False Film Fest, which recently celebrated its 23rd edition, will come to Metrograph to present a secret screening of one of the festival’s 2026 world premieres, the screening to be followed by a panel on the future of documentary film moderated by Yance and featuring a lineup of professionals representing every stage of the nonfiction filmmaking process, from funding to production to exhibition.
Post-screening panel featuring filmmakers Sergei Loznitsa, Stephen Maing, Meg Vatterott, Farihah Zaman, funder Chris Boeckmann, distributor Jason Ishikawa, and 2026 True/False Visiting Artistic Director Yance Ford, moderated by Robert Greene, Murray Center Filmmaker-in-Chief on Saturday, March 21st.
