Academy Award–winner Angelina Jolie is Maria Callas, one of the most iconic performers of the 20th century in acclaimed director Larraín’s operatic Maria. The film follows the American Greek soprano as she retreats to Paris after a glamorous and tumultuous life in the public eye, reimagining the legendary opera singer in her final days as the diva reckons with her identity, legacy, and life. Legendary cinematographer and The Metrograph Issue 1 cover artist ED LACHMAN re-teams with Larraín for their second sumptuous collaboration, and Lachman's fourth Oscar nomination.
Guests will have the chance to receive a Maria by Callas: 100th Anniversary Edition book by Tom Volf, courtesy of Assouline, featuring lost archives and rare photos of Maria Callas' life through the eyes of her closest friends and colleagues. Availability is based on first come, first serve
