In the Honduran wilderness—its landscapes captured in all their lush dewiness on 16mm—a trio of towheaded American WASP boneheads embark on a search of the Fountain of Youth with total disregard to the fragile ecosystem they’re blundering through, along the way scoring coke, receiving moral instructions from a skydiving Bret Easton Ellis, and discussing the virtues of 21 Jump Street and Mayan archaeology. Part Whit Stillman social comedy, part Werner Herzog’s Aguirre, the Wrath of God… which is to say, nothing at all like either of those things.
