After a lifetime regretfully spent in obscurity, rollerblading drug deliveryman Jobe (Jason Grisell) finds himself thrust into unexpected notoriety when his most recent customer, a widely beloved celebrity (Theodore Bouloukos), appears to overdose during a livestream address to fans, leading a nation of bereaved admirers and pop culture journalist hacks to form a rabid lynch mob howling for the blood of the “responsible” party. A harrowing and hilarious long dark night of the soul on wheels that glides through a gauntlet of diverse downtown Manhattan maniacs, something like an After Hours for the post-internet brain rot 21st century. This unique theatrical event coincides with the film’s deluxe Blu-ray release on Factory 25, and will be accompanied by the big screen debut of some especially special Special Features shorts, created for the occasion.
