Accompanying the world premiere of AG Rojas’s stirring new longform work Pare de Sufrir, Metrograph welcomes the LA-based artist to present his latest work alongside his 2017 short film Truth, a rapturous jazz meditation collaborating with saxophonist Kamasi Washington, before joining This Long Century founder Jason Evans in conversation to discuss Rojas’s creative practice spanning personal film projects, inspired commercial work for a tight selection of global brands, and music videos for artists including Jack White, Spiritualized, and Mitski—all of the above realized with an extraordinary compositional sense, boundless creative exuberance, and keen feeling for atmosphere.
