Snakes on a Plane
No upcoming showtimes scheduled.
Director: David R. Ellis
2006 / 105min / 35mm
Way back in 2006, when the internet was still fun, Americans online fell in love with the idea of the movie Snakes on a Plane, with early-adopter online fanbases prompting New Line Cinema to add elements reflecting their feedback, including a particular foul-mouthed explosion from star Samuel L. Jackson, playing an FBI agent who has to think fast in order to foil an assassin’s venomous plot to rub out a key witness in a forthcoming murder trial. More than a message board joke, Ellis’s film is a gonzo mix of comedy, horror, and thriller elements that, among other things, delivers exactly what the title says.
