No upcoming showtimes scheduled.
Director: Richard Press
2010 / 84min / 35mm
A lovely and loving documentary portrait of late, legendary NYC fixture, photographer, and proto-style blogger Cunningham who, at the time of shooting, had been documenting New York’s fashionistas for over 30 years in his two regular New York Times columns “On the Street” and “Evening Hours.” Giving equal attention to Cunningham’s process, philosophy, and oddly aesthetic lifestyle, Press’s delicate and delightful film radiates affection: the filmmaker’s for his subject, and his subject’s for the people of New York.
Introduction and Q&A by director Richard Press and producer Philip Gefter on Saturday, November 4th at 8:00pm, moderated by Zeitgeist Co-Founders Emily Russo and Nancy Gerstman
