Too Early, Too Late
No upcoming showtimes scheduled.
Director: Danièle Huillet
1981 / 100min / DCP
Filmed in France and Egypt in the months between the signing of the Camp David Accords between Egypt and Israel and the attempted assassination of Anwar Sadat, Too Early/Too Late draws on a letter written by Friedrich Engels and a 1974 account of two Marxist writers imprisoned by the government of former Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser to explore parallels between Egypt in its struggle against colonial rule and the powder keg atmosphere of pre-revolutionary France.
