From Russia with Love

No upcoming showtimes scheduled.
Director: Terence Young
1963 / 115min / DCP

Connery’s briskly paced, whip-smart second outing as MI6 agent James Bond has 007 assigned to aide in the defection of Russian spy Tatiana Romanova (Daniela Bianchi) in Istanbul, where he’ll face hard resistance from the international criminal organization SPECTRE. From here the two will have to fight their way across the former Yugoslavia towards a final showdown in Venice, reckoning along the way with SPECTRE agents like Lotte Lenya’s Klebb and Robert Shaw’s “Red” Grant, acting under the command of Anthony Dawson’s mysterious Blofeld. One of the best-loved of all Bonds, and the film with which producer Albert Broccoli believed “the Bond style and formula were perfected.” Presented in DCP 4K.
