Easy Money

No upcoming showtimes scheduled.
Director: James Signorelli
1983 / 95min / 35mm

If ever there were an even more unlikely screen star than Pesci, it would have to be Rodney Dangerfield, the bug-eyed stand-up comic who, after decades of kicking around the entertainment biz, became a leading man for the first time in his early sixties in Easy Money, a raunchy romp with Rodney at his least family-friendly. Dangerfield’s pot-smoking, hard-gambling, gluttonous Staten Island baby photographer “Monty” Capuletti has to straighten up his act for a year in order to collect a $10M inheritance—no simple feat for a lifelong loafer like Monty, and made no less difficult thanks to the insidious influence of his best pal Nicky, a perfect devil-on-the-shoulder role for Pesci.
