Q: The Winged Serpent

No upcoming showtimes scheduled.
Director: Larry Cohen
1982 / 93min / 35mm

After a botched diamond heist, cheap crook Michael Moriarty hides out from the cops in the crown of the Chrysler Building, where he stumbles across the nest of the title’s “Q,” the Aztec God Quetzalcoatl, who’s been snacking on innocent New Yorkers to the dismay of cops David Carradine and Richard Roundtree. Corruption and casual disregard for life run rampant in Cohen’s noxious NYC, with Moriarty’s magnificently scuzzy swindler thinking nothing of shaking down the city in exchange for information that will end this plague of death from above.
