Squelch deep, deep down into the primal Florida swampwater with McNaughton’s twisty, tawdry, terribly sweaty erotic thriller set in the upscale Miami suburb of “Blue Bay,” with two high schoolers (debutante Denise Richards and glowering goth Neve Campbell) and their guidance counselor (Matt Dillon) maneuvering double-crosses upon double-crosses when they’re not tumbling in and out of bed together, while dogged detective Kevin Bacon tries to untangle their schemes. Featuring more twists than a Palomar knot, steamy atmosphere so thick you could cut it with a knife, and Bill Murray in a sporty neck brace.
