This Long Century Presents: Nicolás Pereda

As an ever-expanding online archive This Long Century has published hundreds of personal reflections from artists, filmmakers, and writers, since its inception in 2008. For the ongoing Metrograph series This Long Century Presents, founder Jason Evans taps into this vibrant history, to present screenings and in-person artist talks, centered around the moving-image work of past contributors. A forum for artists and filmmakers to share their work, this series features rarities, work-in-progress and premieres of new projects. For the latest screening in the series on Sunday, September 5th, This Long Century presents prolific Mexican Canadian filmmaker Nicolás Pereda’s 10th feature, Lázaro at Night (2024), together with his short Flora (2022).
