Ed Lachman’s Report From Hollywood

Three-time Academy Award nominee for Best Cinematography, four-time Independent Spirit Award winner in the same category, a mainstay and bedrock of both international and local NYC film culture, and now the cover artist (and co-cover star) of the inaugural edition of our new biannual print journal, The Metrograph: ladies and gentlemen, Mr. Ed Lachman. A longtime friend of the cinema, Lachman joins us for screenings of Report from Hollywood, his rarer-than-rare behind-the-scenes document of the shooting of Wim Wenders’s behind-the-scenes drama The State of Things, as well as the Wenders film.
