Cecil Beaton’s “Fair Lady”, First Edition
While working as costume designer for My Fair Lady, Cecil Beaton kept an extensive diary, as was his wont, as well as photographing much of the proceedings. Collected here, it gives the full scope of Beaton’s involvement while providing plenty of contemporary context, musings, sketches and keen observation. As classic as the film itself.
In terrific condition with only light scuffing, pages remain crisp and sharp throughout. Some wear to the dust jacket with minor tape repair to the verso.
