Chad, 2006. The government has granted amnesty to all war criminals. Atim, 16, is given a revolver by his grandfather in order to kill the man who murdered the father he never got to meet. The teen locates Nassara, a former war criminal now settled down as the owner of a small bakery, and with the firm intention of killing him, gets closer to Nassara by taking on a job as his apprentice baker. But over the weeks, an unexpected bond develops between the two: Atim sees in Nassara the father figure he has lacked, while Nassara sees the teenager as a potential son.
