Director: Heather McAdams, Ron Rice, Patricia Sloane
1962 / 82min / 16mm

A collection of midlength masterpieces of the American avant-garde projected on the medium that they were made on: grand, grainy 16mm. Bringing together Senseless, Ron Rice’s ecstatic Beat Generation document of a footloose trek down to Mexico; Heather McAdams’s Meet… Bradley Harrison Picklesimer, a portrait of the titular drag queen and the Lexington, Kentucky club he presided over; and A Knee Ad, scholar/filmmaker Patricia Sloane’s New York-set camp take on Virgil’s Aeneid, which the filmmaker calls “a journey around the environs of the screen itself.”
