Our new series features a special evening with the star of BLIND AMBITION — Tinashe Nyamudoka who joins us in person for a special tasting of the full range of his Kumusha Wines, screening of the film, followed by a conversation moderated by Miguel de Leon with wine and food served after the screening.

Arrive at 8pm for wine and food in the Metrograph Lobby.

Screening starts at 9pm, followed by discussion, and more festivities.

Ticket ($75 for non-members, $60 for Members) includes all wine, food, and screening.

Ross and Coe’s stirring documentary follows four friends who endured great hardships during the Zimbabwean crisis of 2008, fleeing their homeland for South Africa, where, working in restaurants, they each discovered a talent for wine-tasting. The group's unlikely journey to become sommeliers and form Zimbabwe’s first wine-tasting team in exile is a heart-warming, often comic adventure that leads them to The World Wine Blind Tasting Championships—the Olympics of the wine world.
