THE SHORT LIST: INDIE MEMPHIS

Metrograph and Indie Memphis Film Festival present The Short List, a collection of the finest short films from the last few years curated by Indie Memphis Artistic Director Miriam Bale and Programmer Kayla Myers. Following the live online screening, these films will be available to stream from April 21 through October 21, 2022. “These five short films, which have screened at past Indie Memphis Film Festivals, cover many genres: drama, comedy, documentary, experimental, and combinations thereof. What they have in common is coming at their subjects from the side, rather than head on. With structural innovation and intoxicating images, each film starts obliquely and goes deep.”—Miriam Bale
