FILMFARSI
Named for a term for the popular movie melodramas turned out by the dozen in Iran from the early ’50s until the eve of the Shah’s deposal, Filmfarsi is an archaeological excavation of a nearly forgotten area of international cinema, drawing on clips from over 100 films to reveal an alternate history of Iranian film.
