PEOPLE OF THE LAKE
Filming on the northern shores of Lake Geneva, Straub’s adopted home, People of the Lake draws on Janine Massard’s novel of the same title, in which the protagonist reflects upon his youth in the same territory, growing up in close proximity to Occupied France during the years of World War II.
