DIALOGUE OF SHADOWS
Sixty years after Straub and Huillet planned to adapt Dialogue of Shadows, a short story by Georges Bernanos, Straub revisited the story of two distant lovers united by a shared love for Bach’s Cantata 140 (“Sleepers Wake”) in a poignant work of pastoral recitation by performers Cornelia Geiser and Bertrand Brouder.
