ANTIGONE
Brecht’s adaptation of Sophocles’s Antigone—concerning the title character’s rebellion against the uncle, King Creon, who has condemned her to death—is performed in its entirety, recalling Straub and Huillet’s 1975 Moses and Aaron for its antiquarian setting, in the ruins of a Greek theatre in Segesta, Sicily.
