THE MOTHER
Murdered by his own mother in retaliation for his accidental killing of his brother and uncle, the boar hunter Meleager meets with Hermes, herald of the gods, come to Earth in female form, to converse with the departed about maternal love and other sundry topics in the sun-kissed Tuscan countryside.
