Metrograph’s Film Book Fair returns for the 2018 holiday season with hundreds of newly acquired vintage cinema books, out-of-print monographs, rare periodicals, and film ephemera. From biographies of favorite Hollywood stars—a signed copy of Ethel Merman’s biography, anyone?—to rare magazines like the 1934 issue of Experimental Cinema, focused on Eisenstein’s ¡Que Viva Mexico!, to a full set and more of our favorite Cinema One monographs, the Holiday Film Book Fair presents a whole new bounty of treasures, in addition to a gift-wrapping station; vendors New York Review Books, Posteritati, Light Industry, and more; a Grove Press dedicated screening and selection; and a reading, screening, and signing with Maira Kalman and Alex Kalman.

Tabling at the fair: New York Review Books, Light Industry, Posteritati, Arthur Fournier Rare Books
With selections from: Verso, Columbia University Press, Carlotta Films, and Film-makers’ Cooperative
Featuring: A Grove Press and Evergreen Review display of vintage titles, catalogs, programs, and film-related ephemera co-sponsored by Light Industry and Aeon Books

*The January title for the Metrograph Book Club will be announced at the Holiday Film Book Fair.*
