DIRECTOR: RICHARD QUINE

CAST: JAMES STEWART, KIM NOVAK, JACK LEMMON, ERNIE KOVACS

The same year that they starred in Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo, James Stewart and Kim Novak appeared in a very different but no less lavish-with-longing cinematic enchantment. Greenwich Village-dwelling bohemian witch Novak puts a spell over handsome neighbor Stewart, and antic misunderstandings commence. With Jack Lemmon as a bongo bashing beatnik, television surrealist Ernie Kovacs in what is perhaps his finest cinematic outing, and Manhattan looking richly romantic through the lens of cinematographer James Wong Howe.
