Introduced by Kevin Rafferty

On November 23, 1968, Harvard and Yale are set on a collision course for the final game of their seasons, with both teams undefeated for the first time since 1909. Using testimonial from the players and the original play-by-play from the WHDH telecast by Don Gillis, Rafferty recalls not only the legendary nail-biter in which underdog Harvard, led by lineman Tommy Lee Jones, played their rivals to a tie, but also the volatile political atmosphere of the moment as it made its way into the locker room. An engrossing record that, in reliving gridiron greatness, also revives something of the essential spirit of the tumultuous late ‘60s.
